As part of the ongoing activities of the Med-HELA – Mediterranean Higher Education Leadership Academy project, the Algerian university delegation took part in an official reception hosted by H.E. Sabrina Bey, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Slovenia.
The event, held on the sidelines of the research visit and project meeting at EMUNI University in Koper, brought together representatives from the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, alongside senior academic leaders and faculty members from leading national institutions, including University of Tlemcen, University of Biskra, and University of Constantine 3 – Salah Boubnider.
This engagement contributes to the broader objectives of the project, which aims to strengthen leadership capacities in higher education and promote sustainable academic cooperation across the Mediterranean region, notably among partners from Algeria, Tunisia, Spain, Ireland, and Slovenia.
The reception provided a valuable platform to further highlight the role of scientific diplomacy in fostering institutional partnerships, enhancing knowledge exchange, and supporting the internationalization of higher education systems within the Euro-Mediterranean area.
