The first day of the 2nd MED-HELA Research Meeting opened with an institutional welcome hashtag#ceremony at the University of Granada, Spain.

The session featured Inmaculada Marrero, Vice-Rector for International Relations, who addressed the theme Leadership and Innovation in Higher Education Internationalization: Connecting Cultures, Advancing Knowledge, and Alberto Castañeda, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, who spoke on Academic Leadership: Driving Excellence and Innovation.

The opening also brought together representatives from Algerian and Tunisian universities and Ministries of Education, followed by an introduction to the RM2 program.
