Second Day
The second day of the meeting focused on Development Workshop 1, dedicated to advancing the establishment of the Academy’s Continuing Leadership Development Activities. Discussions centered on identifying the key activities to be implemented, setting an appropriate delivery schedule, and determining the teams responsible for their development.
The workshop also provided an important update on the progress made in the development of the Academy, with particular attention given to issues of ownership, organizational structures, and the business model. These exchanges helped further clarify the strategic and operational foundations needed to ensure the Academy’s sustainability and effective implementation.
The activities concern the presentations on “Module 1: Higher Education Governance and Context” and “Module 2: Discovering Leadership in Higher Education”. Each session provided an overview of the module content, together with a report on the progress achieved so far and feedback received during the development process.
These presentations offered an opportunity to review the advancement of both modules, reflect on the feedback gathered, and discuss ways to further strengthen their relevance and effectiveness within the Med-HELA Academy framework.
